Magazine

CLASAX is the quarterly magazine of The Clarinet and Saxophone Society of Victoria Inc. and is posted to all members. Initially a news sheet in the early years, through the hard work and dedication of some enthusiastic members, it has since 2000, under the wing of editor Rosemary Benkemoun, developed into a well-presented, informative and highly readable publication.

As well as reporting recent events and providing information about upcoming CLASAX events, it provides reviews and news of clarinet and saxophone performances and musicians in Victoria, some entertaining snippets, and also articles reprinted with permission from other Australian or overseas magazines. Most would find that each issue contains something of permanent value and so the archive of back issues is kept for review.

A feature has been the graphics and cartoons provided by Debb Black, some of which appear on our website and some of which are also now being printed to cards for general sale.

CLASAX also gives our sponsors and those serving the interests of clarinets and saxophones in Victoria the opportunity to communicate and advertise to our membership.
