Irit is the Principal Clarinet with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. She has also appeared regularly with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra. She has appeared as a guest principal with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and soloist with the Queensland Orchestra, and has played with the New Sydney Wind Quintet at the Huntington Festival. Irit has also appeared with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, and in 2009 she attended classes with Wenzel Fuchs and Alexander Bader of the Berlin Philharmonic.
